Smart Growth Aiken

The lines for voting districts in the City of Aiken have been redrawn due to the shift in population shown by the recent Census. If you received a new Voter Registration Card in the mail, then you are now in a different district from the last time you voted.

On September 9, there will be a Republican Primary to elect one City Councilperson from the newly defined District 3. All registered voters who reside in this district may vote in this election, regardless of party affiliation.

Please note that this election will be decided in this Primary. There is no further opponent and therefore there will not be a General Election in November.

It is crucial that you get out and vote for your candidate on September 9. This is your chance to elect the person who will represent you on your City Council.
